Hello my classy followers! Today, as promised, I am posting my review, along with some great pictures of the Pulse Fashion Show I attended on Thursday night. Chris attended the show with me and we had the best time viewing all of the looks and taking some great pictures. Below you will find backstage photos and images of the final looks on the runway, along with my reviews of the show itself:
Backstage was hectic, but you could see all of the creativity and passion that went into designing and modeling all of the looks. It was a great experience seeing everyone hard at work in order to make the fashion show a success.
These were some of my favorite looks from the night, as they were all unique to each designer that created them. As we were seated front row, we were able to capture great images and see all of the beautiful construction up close. Just as well, the models showed off the clothes by strutting their stuff to the sound of the catwalk music.
It was an honor to be invited and seated front row because we were able to show our support for the charity that the fashion show was raising money for, The Midwest Shelter for Homeless Veterans. Through the Pulse Fashion Show production, $3,000 was raised to support the veterans, which was absolutely amazing.
Overall, this show was a complete success and was one of the best fashion events Chris and I have attended. I loved how the students from The Illinois Institute of Art- Schaumburg were able to showcase all of their hard work in one creative and professional environment, all the while supporting a great cause.
I would love to attend more fashion shows and events within the Chicagoland area and around the country as a whole, especially in New York City. Thank you all for your support thus far with my fashion dreams and a huge thank you goes out from Chris and I to The Illinois Insitute of Art- Schaumburg for their generosity and support!
