When I am shopping, I always look for interesting and unexpected details in clothing, such as the asymmetrical hemline of this skirt. The skirt also has a quilted texture and is in a beautiful pastel pink color, so it became my inspiration for creating this look. It is the first day of spring, so what better than to build an outfit around gorgeous pastel colors, which are synonymous with the season? Going along with the pointedness of the hemline, I slipped on some flats that were in the same pink color that had pointed toes. On top, I wanted to contrast the girly pink with edgy black leather. This shirt works because the boxy shape offsets the fitted skirt. A statement necklace that has pink and gold stones, as well as a light blue roping added a spring touch, as did a dusty blue handbag that incorporated more of the pastel color scheme. Let me know in the comments below if you like the asymmetrical hemline trend for the spring and how you will be rocking it!
