Leopard print really never goes out of style, but this season it's in the spotlight even more. Everything from jackets to shoes to tops can be found utilizing this print. You can really make the print your own by going for a look that's classic, sexy, professional, or playful.
I have a thing for styling turtlenecks in the fall and winter. They are not only warm, but also, they are sleek and are a great foundation for layering. When I came across this leopard print one, I was in love! Typically, you don't find turtlenecks in prints, let alone a print that acts like a neutral, so I knew I had to add this piece to my wardrobe.
This turtleneck can be worn in a variety of ways, but my favorite way has been to pair it with a camel leather skirt and thigh high boots. There is something unexpected with this pairing, yet so sophisticated and playful. Since this is a bold look, you really don't need much in terms of accessories. A statement ring or two is plenty.
When it gets super cold out, layering is a must. A cream sherpa car coat adds some texture without competing with the other pieces. A jacket like the one seen below maintains the playful vibe we are going for. When your look is layered, it can be a great idea to use a crossbody bag to break up the look a bit.
This look is all about neutrals and texture, so a seasonal pop of color like plum adds a little something different to the outfit. Having fun with prints and textures is one of my favorite ways to try new looks for the fall. A quick tip is to keep the colors neutral and add one pop of color in order for the outfit to stay cohesive.
