Products and meals that are free from gluten, dairy, corn, and natural and artificial flavors.
Having diseases that involve food restrictions can feel overwhelming. However, if you keep your pantry stocked with healthy, free from foods, then you give yourself many resources for quick and easy snacks and meals. My pantry is always stocked with some of my favorite products from brands I trust. Here are ten products that are always in my pantry to help you navigate shopping for healthy products that are free from gluten, most dairy products, corn, and natural and artificial flavors. Always remember to check all labels before consuming any products to make sure they are free from the things you cannot have in your diet.
1. BOB'S RED MILL MIXES
Over the years, I have come to trust Bob's Red Mill products for providing great quality gluten free mixes for desserts like brownie mix, cake mix, bread mix, and cookie mix. Be careful when shopping though because not all of Bob's products are gluten free. Double check anything you purchase for the GF label.
2. SIMPLE MILLS CRACKERS
Another go-to brand of mine is Simple Mills. Whenever I am in a hurry and need a quick snack, I can easily reach for Simple Mills Crackers. These go great with peanut butter and pears if you are looking for a healthy snack option.
3. BANZA NOODLES
Noodle options ranging from chickpeas to rice are always in my pantry. I love that there have been so many new types of noodles on the market for those with Celiac Disease and food allergies. My favorite recipe that includes these noodles is spaghetti.
4. GOGO SQUEEZ APPLESAUCE
Yes, you read that right! I know these applesauce pouches are typically for kids, but I love them for a quick, on-the-go snack. If I am traveling or running errands, these are great to throw in my bag.
5. MAMMA CHIA SEEDS
Chia seeds are packed with healthy omega-3 fatty acids and fiber. I am someone who can tolerate certified gluten free oats, so I add these to my oatmeal every morning, along with honey, bananas, and almond milk.
6. PACIFIC FOODS CHICKEN BROTH
I cannot tolerate a lot of red meat, so I tend to eat a lot of chicken, so Pacific Chicken Broth is a must have in my kitchen. I use it for chicken breast, chicken legs, and add it to rice to give it some flavor. This broth is organic and does not contain any natural or artificial flavors.
7. WONDERFUL PISTACHIOS
Lightly salted pistachios are a great snack option. I will eat them on their own or with a handful of grapes. This snack is the perfect mix of savory and sweet.
8. GOOD HEALTH KETTLE STYLE CHIPS OLIVE OIL SEA SALT
Chips tend not to be the healthiest option for a snack, but when I do indulge in them, I choose Good Health because their Sea Salt chips only contain three ingredients: potatoes, olive oil, and sea salt. There are no hydrogenated oils or artificial colors.
9. ENJOYLIFE SEED & FRUIT MIX
One of my favorite brands for free from food is Enjoy Life. This company makes sure their products are free from gluten, wheat, peanuts, tree nuts, dairy, casein, soy, egg, and the list goes on! I trust their snacks, chocolate chips, and their chocolate bars and always keep these products on hand.
10. CROFTER'S PREMIUM SPREAD WILD BLUEBERRY
When I eat gluten free bread, I love adding a layer of jelly for a quick breakfast option or add peanut butter for a simple lunch. This spread only contains 5 ingredients unlike many other jellies that tend to be very processed.
I hope you all enjoyed taking a look at my pantry and some of my favorite free from products. As always, be sure to read labels when you are at any grocery store and even before you use a product to double and triple check that it is free from your intolerances and allergies. I was NOT sponsored for this post. These products are all ones I truly believe in and all opinions on this site are always my own.
