My favorite pieces and how to style them from brand's that I have partnered with.
The unofficial start to summer (Memorial Day) was Monday. While this summer definitely looks different than last summer did, you can still rock your swimsuit while at home! Swimwear can become a part of many of your summer activities, especially if you incorporate beautiful and versatile cover ups to your look.
Finding the right swimwear and figuring out great ways to style it can definitely feel daunting at times. However, I had the opportunity to speak with Style and Trend Expert Brittney Levine all about swimwear. She shared some of her go-to tips for feeling confident and comfortable in swimwear.
Brittney Levine is a Style and Trend Expert that has experience in marketing and publicity. She has appeared on NBC, E! News, CBS, and Fox, where she has covered many fashion related topics. Brittney is always helping the viewer get the most "bang for their buck!"
This video with Brittney has so many great pieces of information to get you inspired, so definitely give it a watch!
Here are a few key takeaways from our conversation to help you feel confident while rocking your swimwear all summer long:
-Ditch your old suit! Old swimwear from years ago tends to not look the same as when you bought it. It can get stretched out and the color can definitely fade.
-Find a suit with a pop of color! A suit with a pop of color can make you want to go outside and enjoy the beautiful weather.
-Find suits and coverups that are versatile! Look for swimsuits and coverups that can take you to the beach, BBQ, and beyond.
-Feel confident! Body positivity is so important! Cover the areas you do not wish to showcase and show off the ones you do! Every body is a beach body!
Even though this summer is definitely going to be different compared to summers before, you can still incorporate swimwear into your look this summer. Focus on pieces that make you feel good and that offer versatility to your wardrobe!
