Often, I find that people are very afraid to wear patterns, especially bold ones, but as long the pattern is balanced in the overall outfit, you can achieve a fashion forward and unique look. Starting with this zebra print midi skirt, I knew I had to tone it down with a cropped black leather jacket and black heels. However, to keep the look from being too predictable, I tossed on this great chartreuse shirt and these black heels have studs, so they up the style factor. A statement necklace with black and gold stones, as well as a gold clutch, tie into the heels, which keeps the overall look harmonious. While wearing a look like this one is very bold, all the pieces are balanced, so you will look trendy and chic, rather than trying too hard. What are your favorite ways to wear patterns?
