When it comes to a black and white color scheme, it is important to have a variety of textures within the outfit to give some interest because the colors themselves are quite simple. This blazer is a great piece to start with because it is white with black trim and has several different materials making it up. Under that piece I added a black shirt with ruffles made out of lace, chiffon-like material, and cotton. Tucking the shirt into the leather skirt defined my waist and a pair of major over-the-knee suede boots incorporated another texture, while keeping my legs warm. My signature piece, a statement necklace, also had black finishes, such as the black flower and broach detail that tied the look together. Unexpectedly, I grabbed a bright pink satchel because why not add a pop of color to this otherwise neutral color scheme? How do you like to keep your black and white looks interesting?
