Taking a nod from the '60s mod vibe, I put this outfit together. The shapes of clothing in the '60s were often those of boxier and shorter ones, such as this leather shirt. Shorts paired over tights complement the boxy shirt, while tying the grey hue into the pattern. Mimicking the grey leather on top, I chose these wedges, which are the same color and textile. Even though the wedges are open toed, you can wear tights with them as long as they are within the same color family. A simple navy clutch and long silver pendant necklace are the finishing touches that lend subtle hints of detail, but still allow the boldness of the clothes take center stage. Looking back on previous decades is a great way to think of modern clothing in an out-of-the-box way, while still looking fashion forward. Tell me below in the comments what eras inspire you!
