Usually tights are paired with skirts and dresses, however I decided to take a different route and pair some black tights with a textured pattern with a pair of silky black shorts. My rule for wearing tights with shorts is to match the color of the tights to your shorts and shoes like I did with these black booties. This rule can be flexed of course, but sticking to it makes your legs look long and lean. Since the bottom half of my outfit was on the plainer side, I decided to have fun with a patterned, tweed blazer and I pulled the light rose color of the shirt out of the stripe in the blazer. Keeping the colors close to your face, draws attention to your gorgeous face and hair. A chunky multiple chain bracelet kept the look on the classic side, but to keep this look on the more playful side, I added this girly tote. Will you try the shorts and tights look?
