Happy Easter Sunday my classy followers! I hope you all have a day that's full of faith and love with your family. Today, not only will I be posting my Perfect Piece segment, which will be posted here later today, I am showing you how to style a couple's look for Easter. Let's get started with my outfit:
Dress / A. Byer
Blazer / Express
Necklace / Target
Clutch / TJ Maxx
Heels / Kelly & Katie
As for my look, I wanted to style something in a bright color that would go with Chris's look, as well. So, I started with this blue sheath dress with peplum detailing and threw a striped blazer on to add a print. A necklace and pattern clutch included even more delicate details to the look, while a pair of grey bow heels grounded the look, while adding a feminine detail. Now, let's take a look at how I styled Chris's look:
Shirt / Michael Kors
Pants / Express
Belt / Perry Ellis
Watch / Karl Lagerfeld
Shoes / Aldo
First, I chose to style Chris in a look that was different than the traditional suit and tie, but still dressed up. For example, I chose the blue chino pants, which are trendy, yet are easy to wear when paired with a grey and navy shirt tucked in. Tucking the shirt into the pants already gave the look a dressier vibe. In addition, I incorporated a brown belt and gunmetal watch to accent the ensemble. Finally, a pair of blue suede shoes gave a streamlined look with the pants and were fashion forward, rather than traditional brown.
