Feeling very chic today, I thought a structured blazer with bold nautical detailed buttons would be the perfect piece to build my look around. Under the blazer I tossed on a t-shirt with a fun pattern and cool quote. To bring out more of the colors in the shirt I went with not one, but 2 statement necklaces. The key to layering necklaces is to make sure the colors go together and also to have different sizes, such as one having smaller stones and the other having larger ones. For bottoms, I kept it simple with a pair of medium wash flare jeans layered over black suede booties, so most of the attention was on the top half of the outfit. A shinny, red paten leather handbag brought another touch of color to the look without being too competing.
